An aMAZE-ing Night!

On Saturday night the whole gang (yes, we are a gang now -oh, you haven't heard of us?) put on our sweaters and headlamps and headed out to Zach's Corn Maze. Oh what fun it was to be out on a country farm in the middle of nowhere in pure darkness. If the tractor ride out to the maze wasn't fun enough, surely the 10 of us naviagating through endless rows of corn and trying to scare other unsuspecting mazers was a hoot. The highlight of the evening was when Shaun jumped out of the dark corn and scared the heck out of some highschool aged kids, who were so genuinely scared that they screamed and ran away. Then we overheard them recapping the story "then that old guy jumped out..." Shaun was officially "that old guy". Hee hee! I wish I had taken my camera - but I don't know what the pictures would've been like - probably just darkness. We were cute yet scary (except for Shaun, who was "old looking") - you'll just have to take my word for it.

I think we are going to go to that Eastern State Penitentiary that hosts the Halloween tours. It is in the Fairmount section - we went to the worst haunted thing last year - what a waste of money. It is always fun though when you have a group of people!!
