The Beach...Not Just For Summer Anymore

On Sunday, we spent the day at the Beach. It was a beautiful, crisp, sunny February day - we couldn't resist the urge to be outside doing something. The kids didn't want to leave the house (see first picture), but after all was said and done, they admitted to having had a great time!

All smiles... Not!

The same rocks that were hot to the touch last summer were draped with snow and ice!

Amaya gets some fresh air!

The kids can't get enough of racing their dad on the beach. Even with headstarts, Jerms still prevails...

Don't you know it's rude to double-blog? It's like wearing jeans and a denim shirt.

Date fixed. Satisfied?

...just because you only update your blog whenever Jupiter is in line with Uranus...

Hampton Beach! What brought you all the way to Hampton?
Plenty of room to roam and play this time of year.

Nice pictures - glad you're enjoying Maine, but I'll stick to places further south, unless my daughter's husband moves her to his hometown - then I'll visit, in the summer.

Yes, we had a Blizzard. Maine declared a "state of emergency" at around 2p yesterday. Business was "as usual" at our house - the kids tried to play outside while getting pelted with hail, the grown children (Shaun & Jermaine) went snowmobiling on some trails behind our house. I worked from home yesterday but today the roads were fine so I went into the office. Someone told me that they use a liquid anti-freeze stuff on the Maine highways - I thought that was pretty neat.

All is well, we didn't even lose power.

Thanks for asking...
