From the Peanut Gallery II

Overheard from the playroom:

"Violence is not to hurt a human being Avery, and you should know this more than I do because I've never read a single word in the Bible" - Our 9 year old neighbor kid

good job on the header erin!
have you read your book?

Yeah, clearly he hasn't read the bible, esp. old testament - lots of violence against human beings there! The next part of the conversation went like this:

Amelle: Do you know God?

The header is a picture of my dining room wall. I'm reading...damnit!

hey erin, does audra have any tips on how to take good indoor shots without the flash? (i was struggling trying to get some good ones of rachel...she's nonstop!) i wish you lived closer so we could learn together! maybe audra can give us a group lesson when i come up in august :-)

This is the typical lesson Audra gives me:

"Did you read your manual yet?"

From what I know, lighting is key you have to have decent natural lighting, so get over near a window (but don't put R in front of it). Then I think if you put your setting on P and use a higher ISO, like 800, it might help. ...but I know nothing because I haven't read my manual (but I am taking it to bed with me tonight).

I'll figure out a way to lure Audra down to my house when you guys come up in August - maybe some of my homemade mac and cheese will get her talkin'!!! :-)

Now off to fix the corners of my header - they've been bothering me all day - perfectionism is self abuse, I know.

Perfectionism is the highest order of self abuse.

Like, no love, the new headah. That's how we Maine'ahs say it.

The corners are killin' me, but I can't fix them!!!

I may need to call in the big dawgs (that's how we say it in the hood). Audra = big dawg.

i might be up for a lesson for the both of you - assuming you have both read your manuals????
