It's Confirmed

Santa Claus does not actually reside at the North Pole, but in Kittery, Maine.

I caught him outside of his home this morning.

This is obviously the real Santa, because it's the middle of March, and we all know that by March, all things Christmas are put away.

it probably seems just as cold as the north pole at times!
is that the same house that has lots of junk in the yard?

Wow, Santa has a sick looking van to use in the off season!

I would love the know if there is a story behind leaving him up or if they're just lazy.

...Nance - that's actually a different house that has lots of junk in the yard. Come to think of it - there are quite a few like that around here. ..and they aren't all in one neighborhood, they're just kind of mixed in. We live at the nexus where "white trash" meets the "upper crust". Rolling farms meets Rocky Coastline. It's a weird place, but it's home.

...this topic is a whole 'nother blog post, isn't it?

...wait a second, is it upper crust or upper crest?

funny how those "trash" houses tend to get mixed in. i laugh everytime we pass by the one trailer close to our house...there's a boat and a lexus parked in the driveway :-) i guess everyone has different priorities...and decorating preferences.

I think they just left him out there so that they can make him an Easter Bunny soon.
